Skills Bootcamps are part of the Government’s Lifetime Skills Guarantee, helping everyone gain skills for life. Skills Bootcamps will support the social and economic objectives of delivering a sustainable, healthy, inclusive and growing economy. The Department for Education has awarded organisations to deliver Skills Bootcamps.

Skills Bootcamps are funded, flexible courses of up to 16 weeks, designed to meet the needs of local people and local employers. Skills Bootcamps will therefore help employers to fill vacancies and develop the necessary skills of their workforce; as well as helping local residents develop the skills required to be industry-ready and find a new job or develop their existing skills to progress further in work.

Individuals

Can you answer Yes to the following –

  • Ready for your next step in your scaffolding training?
  • Are you 19 years or older?
  • Do you live within the Liverpool City Region?
  • Do you hold, or have previously held,  a CISRS Labourer or CISRS Trainee card?
  • Are you currently in employment?

Employers

 

  • Are you an Employer who needs to upskill your current workforce?
  • Do you have an office/yard within the Liverpool City Region?
  • Employers need to make a small financial contribution to the training and this is dependant on their business size, complete the form below and our friendly staff will contact you to discuss the opportunities further.
